A bell (cow bell from Obwalden(?)) by Alois Huwyler, Sarnen, hardware store. The bell was cast by the GUSSET foundry in Uetendorf, near Thun. It is a very nice piece. At the top of the bell is the number "17". There are signs of age and use. In some places there are light spots of verdigris. Straps, buckle and stitching are missing. The bell has not been patched and has a very good, bright and long-lasting sound. Bell in good condition!
