This is a rare antic work by Charles BERNHOEFT: Luxembourg. Dédié à son Altesse royale Le Grand-Duc Adolphe de Luxembourg par Charles Bernhoeft, photographe de la Cour Grand-Ducale. It is a portfolio with 47 photo-typical views from Luxembourg Town and the countryside of Luxembourg. In addition to the writing on the front cover, which is framed by Arabic arabesques, there is an image of the Spanish turret and a coat of arms.
Condition: The work is used, but is nevertheless in good condition. I can't say whether the content is complete. The corners are heavily bumped. There is a minor injury on the front cover, top left. The back cover shows light stains. The image of Larochette is torn at the top left, approximately 2 cm long. The image of the Bisserweg Viaduct is torn at the bottom left, approximately 1.50 cm long. The image of the Pescatore Foundation is torn at the bottom left, approximately 2.00 cm long. The image of Luxembourg seen from the bridge Grund is torn approximately 2.00 cm long at the bottom left. The views are spotty. On the last page, at the bottom left, the corner is slightly torn off.
