The 10 franc note, green, (letter “D”) is heavily used, was folded twice, but has no tears. The corners are bumped. On the obverse is the portrait of Grand Duke Jean. You can see the “Red Bridge” on the lapel.
The 20 franc note, blue, (letter “C”) is used, was folded twice and has no tears. On the obverse is the portrait of Grand Duke Jean. On the reverse you can see a town on the Moselle and a lock.
The 50 franc note, brown, (letter “A”) is heavily used, was folded twice, but has no tears, there is a small hole in the middle. There is a bruise on the obverse. The corners are bumped. On the obverse is the portrait of Grand Duke Jean. On the lapel you can see two iron industry workers.
The 100 franc note, red, (letter “B”) is used, was folded twice and has no tears. On the obverse is the portrait of Grand Duke Jean. On the reverse you can see the Adolf Bridge, the Avenue de la Liberté and the savings bank building.
