The Order of Merit, (Ordre de Mérite). The Order of Merit is a cross with four branches, each connected by five rays. On the obverse, in the centre, is a medallion with the lion of the Grand Duchy. On the lapel are two letters “C” (Charlotte: Grand Duchess). The band is red with white and blue edges. The medal is in very good condition and in the original box. Metal: gold plated. There is also an additional “pin” for attaching. The box has a minor injury on the lid.
