Bottle holder Art Nouveau around 1900 DBE Dupper & Bernhold Esslingen
These are two silver-plated bottle holders from the company Dupper & Bernhold (DBE) from Esslingen (D) from the Art Nouveau period. The bottle holder is openwork and decorated on both sides with a cartouche and floral motifs. One of the cartouches contains the monogram KJ. The DBE hallmark can be found on the bottom.
Condition: The items are used, but in good condition. There are normal signs of wear for items of this age. The decoration above the monogram on a bottle holder is damaged (torn). One foot of the other bottle holder was restored. The holders need to be polished up. So they could become part of a beautifully set table.
Diameter (inside): approx. 9.00 cm. High: approx. 9.50cm. Both weigh: around 556 g.
