Tin can. This is a tin can from the Suchard company. The can is from +- 1900. On the lid it says: Cacao Suchard Maison fondée en 1826. On the front we see a child with a Suchard bonbonniere and the inscription: Cacao Suchard soluble – Leicht Löslich N0 284. On the right side there is a farmer's wife with cows on the mountain pasture, in front a boy is leaning on the fence. Then we have the following inscription: Milka / Suchard Feinste Alpen-Milch-Schokolade. Suchard alleiniger Fabrikant. On the back we find the instructions for use with the analysis of the cocoa: " Cacao soluble Neuchâtel-Serrières Loerrach Paris Bludenz ". On the left side we have a pair of women, where a lady is holding a bar of chocolate in her hand. The inscription is: Velma Suchard Chocolat fondant Feinschmelzend Suchard Alleiniger Fabrikant. There is an "Avis" written inside the lid.
The tin is heavily used, but nevertheless a collectible item. The paint has come off in some places. In general, it has the normal signs of wear of an item that has been used every day and even longer. The bottom looks good. The interior has signs of wear and some light rust spots. Dimensions: 18.80 x 10.30 x 10.20 cm. Weighs approximately: 221 g.
